We provide a wide range of professional services to meet your needs. We promise to provide every service with a smile, and to your highest level of satisfaction.
Baptisms
The sacrament of baptism is an outward and visible sign of the grace of God. Through baptism a person is joined with the universal church, the body of Christ. In baptism, God works in us the power of forgiveness, the renewal of the spirit, and the knowledge of the call to be God’s people always.
Weddings
A wedding is a time of reverence and joy, celebration and consecration. We are pleased to help you plan your wedding service and hope that it truly will be a holy moment and special day for you.
We will strive in all of the above to honor both the wishes of the bride and groom and our understanding of our Christian heritage.
Weddings are performed at St. Paul’s UCC Church for church members, their family members and residents of the Northern Illinois area.
Funerals
We at St. Paul’s UCC extend our sympathy to you for your loss. We pray that God’s love and grace will surround you during this time. While this is a sad time when we realize our loss, Christians give joyous thanks and praise to God for the promise of eternal life granted us in Jesus Christ.
It has been the Christian tradition to commend loved ones to God’s care through a time of worship or gathering with family and friends. This can happen at the church, the funeral home, a family home, the cemetery or other appropriate place.
